The tour desk can arrange sea kayaking, surfing lessons, hang-gliding, horse riding, and trips to Nimbin. Limited parking is available. The property also offers a free walking tour twice a week to Australia's most easterly point and the iconic Byron Bay lighthouse. There's spectacular views where you can spot whales, dolphins, and turtles as well as Byron's famous surfing beaches. Cape Byron YHA has 30 rooms including co-living, twin/double, and family rooms. All offer lockers and all linen is provided. There is also free, fast Wi-Fi all throughout the property and the private rooms offer a flat-screen TV, air conditioning, and an ensuite. Children are welcome at this property but cannot be accommodated in the co-living (shared) rooms. Guests under the age of 17 can only check in with a parent or designated guardian*. Children aged 17 will need a letter from a parent or official guardian to stay in private rooms only.’ *Designated guardians must have written permission from a parent/legal guardian.
